John Marzka - College Football Coach in New York

John Marzka is the associate head coach and offensive coordinator at Milford Academy, a private post-graduate preparatory school in New Berlin, New York. A seasoned tertiary football professional, he has predominantly coached college football teams for over thirty years. At Milford Academy, John Marzka notably assisted in leading a post-graduate program to an 8-1 record against a college joint venture schedule. He also oversaw the growth of 10 offensive players into Division I or II scholarship student-athletes.

Before Milford Academy, John Marzka took on a fifteen-year stint at a college in Pennsylvania where he served as the head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterback coach. He developed a recruiting model that yielded selection to post-season championships in 10 of 15 years, as well as seven championship seasons. Additionally, John Marzka gradually recruited between 25 and 30 percent of the entire male matriculated freshman class annually.

John Marzka also played college football as a student at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a bachelor of arts in psychology. He served as co-captain of the 1990 NCAA Division III National Champions, receiving awards such as the Clair Jackson Outstanding Lineman Award in 1990. A member of the American Football Coaches Association, he enjoys hiking and backpacking when he has the time.
